My Experience

So far i have handled more than 100 transactions since i m doing this online business seriously 5 months ago. That means average 20 transactions per month. However that does not include offline transactions via my book selling.

Based on my EXPERIENCE, Malaysian eBayers usually make purchase during weekdays. Probably on weekends they prefer going out shopping instead of stuck to their pc picking things in eBay. Well, that is healthy way of living I must say.

Friday and Saturday is usually a shopping time for international buyers. They would buy things in my store from 1AM - 7AM. So it's fun when you wake up in the morning noticing you just got sale while you were sleeping. :)

SO as you can see, almost everyday is a SALE day except Sunday. It is outing day for almost everyone I guess (except if you are living in EastCost Malaysia).

And today is Sunday. I am in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. I need to go to Post Office to ship my customers orders now.

See you soon!

So They Say

Working from home offers you a wealth of flexibility that you may not get it if you are tied up to your boss. You can work whenever you like it, take a holiday whenever you feel like jumping like a monkey, or sleep even you dont feel sleepy. And list of luxury goes on.

Yes. SO true.

BUT THAT CAN HAPPEN ONLY AND ONLY AND ONLY IF YOU ARE LOADED ENOUGH!

To get to that point you must work SMART so they say. You need to brain-storm your head to get new business ideas and marketing approach. Sometimes you need to let the rain fall from your eyes as well, just to check whether you are still human. Risks has to be taken and CORRECT actions need to be done so you CAN get what you are trying to catch. BIG SALE. BIG PROFIT.

The pressure is HIGH since you dont have fix money coming in. Sometimes you may earn less than those McDonald's kids. Even your nephew's pocket money is more handful than your monthly debit.

Huwaaa.. So sad.. Poor auntie..

BUT

I m HAPPIER this way. I hope it keeps me humble and always appreciate things around me. And i wont let my 5 cents fall into the drain.

Wow, after a long time!

Assalamualaikum & good day to you. Hmm, i havent blogging for preety 4 months now. I wonder what makes me so BUSY that i neglect this sole responsibility. Well not much!

FYI in November my fat & old laptop got a stroke and broke down to death, leaving me with anger and sad all in one. Why? Because he bring ALL my important data to grave as well. Not to mention without compensation to let me start over the business over again.

(it's human nature we blame things when it is actually our fault we didnt prepare the backups in the first place. Machine has no brain, we do! But still, we cursed the poor dead thing *-* )

Well i got some savings but i refused to use it. I am a type who will think years before indulge into big spending. SO what should i do now?

First month i just spent time despairing with the 'loss'. Donating tears for nothing.

Second month i got my sanity back. i went to cybercafe and spent at least 2 hours doing my business.

Third month, still driving back and forth to cybercafe. Still dealing with the traffic jams and parking woes. I collected 3 piece of cute pink papers with the name of summons as well.

Forth months, it's getting crazy. I had it enough. After a long head-banging i decided to buy the cheapest laptop to save my sanity again.

Now, i m taking in the NEW Toshiba NB100 as my obedient business partner. *-*
Love it!
