Needs Venue Renovation In Progress

Salam ya fellas..

Sorry for the long silence. I was a bit busy with my store 'renovation'. I have designed a from-scratch store page as a cover for my eBay store, Needs Venue. Check out the real page h e r e and kindly splash me with your generous comment :)

Next on my plan is to construct a 'Term & Policy' page. I will update here once i m done with the terms. I hope it would help interested eBay buyers on buying, shipping and return policy for items listed in my store. They dont have to wait for me to answer their questions anymore.

The 'Store Newsletters' box also look dull. I will design it in a better look once I m done with the 'Terms & Policy' page.

What else I need to change? You tell me. Thank you :)

Loan for self-employed, anyone? [Part II]

Salam ya fellas..

Sorry for the long silence. I was a bit busy with my store 'renovation'. I have designed a not-so-professional store page as a cover for my eBay store, Needs Venue. Check it out h e r e and kindly splash me with your generous comment :)

Okay back to the real issue : Loan for self-employed, anyone? Part II.

This time i m going to share with you my proposal content. The proposal is very important to state why you need the funds (loan), what to do with it and how you going to repay it. The basis is very simple: You want money from other party so you must request it properly lah.

The proposal was printed on a plain white papers, no colourful cover nor flowery words at all. Just very direct-to-the-point but well-packed information. I want them to see how determined i am with my business ideas. Oh ya, the proposal is in Bahasa Malaysia so i will put the info as it was.

Loan for self-employed, anyone?

I am a self-employed person. I have no fixed income and have no confirmation letter from any company. I started from scratch and haha just imagine how hard my life is. I do feel breaking down sometimes but i never regret my path. I will find a way to fix it somehow.

The most crucial thing in building a business is capital. It is like an engine to your car. No matter how much or how good the quality of the 'fuel' (ideas), your 'car' (business) would not go anywhere without the 'engine' (capital!).

So where to get the capital injection? Everybody knows banks would require few documents that the business starters do not have. (I dont what to go detail into that)

Then i read about TEKUN somewhere in newspaper. I was in doubt at first, but no harm trying isnt' it?

I read the criterias needed to qualify the loan in their website. I passed all the criteria except i do not have a PREMISE. I dont keep stocks and i do not open any real shop, so how? Can i call my eBay Store a 'premise'?

Let's find out next.

In January 2009, i dared myself to meet their officers in Kota Bharu. I had prepared a hand-written proposal in advance just to check with them whether this online business is 'valid' for loan application.

The officer was nice. He admitted that is the first time he got an applicant who do not own a PREMISE. He checked with TEKUN HQ in Kuala Lumpur. To my relief, i was welcomed to apply the loan. (^-^)

Actually the amount that i requested is not much. Just below 5K. It does not require any business licence, just general documents about yourself. For a ONLINE business starter, i think this amount is enough to support the basis of the business. As the time goes by and your business gets more profit, you may apply a bigger amount from TEKUN. BUT with ONE condition, you have shown good repayment records.

Nothing comes absolute easy. You have to throw some effort man!
